We were on a road trip through Ireland and spent a night in Crossmolina. We decided to have dinner and a beer or two. The food was delicious. My husband is vegetarian and on his request the kitchen modified one dish to be vegetarian and it tuned out to be excellent. The Irish version of the famous Canadian poutine. The place is decorated with lots of old pictures, newspapers from ages ago, vintage bar decor etc.

Super friendly service, I've rarely encountered such nice staff. The portions were large, super delicious but relatively expensive. Music was recorded but also very good, lots of TVs and quick service. We were very satisfied.

Hiney's has always been a fantastic pub with great food and beverage and our recent visit was enjoyed by all. We arrived there at the end of a 65km walk in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation and we couldn't confirm a booking in advance as it seemed to be touch and go with how late we might arrive. Thankfully with some last minute running we made it before the kitchen closed. All super and had a lovely time with a well earned pint and some delicious food.

This is a great place with really good food and the prices are absolutely fair for the portions you receive. Service was super slow however this was because there was only one server at the time. Once ordered everything came quickly. The vegetable soup and dynamite prawns were delicious.

Lovely atmosphere with friendly staff and delicious food. Generous portions, great value, and a real cosy Irish pub feel. Highly recommend if you're in Crossmolina!

We had a family meal here in August. The welcome was warm and the food was excellent (huge portions, tasty too). It's dark and cosy inside, would be perfect in winter. Definitely recommend.

What a great surprise, I have never experienced such a level of excellence in service, with what I call "the genuine Irish smile." We were seated promptly, they looked after the kids instantly, their food was brought out in record time. (Parents will understand the value of that particular aspect!!) I even asked the owner if the waitresses were his daughters, but they weren't. He is a very lucky man to have such high-quality staff. Great pint, too.
